Clemeny Louvel became part of the red cape society. But in this book was in a collection of stories that I though sounded fun to read about Christmas. This story  was a  Christmas  mystery that involves children going missing and a weird Christmas monster  that seams to take them leaving behind a golden pear, five gold rings, and other things from the song the 12 days of Christmas. I came into the story thinking it was going to be a romance  and stayed for the story and loving the ending.
 I give this book 4 out of 5 stars for the mystery and the love in this story. Will read at least books one and two to find out what I missed out on from them and take it from there.

The intro was a little slow with the letter writing but once I got to the two Charter Gwen and Edward meeting I really enjoy the book. I love that Edward was not the perfect looking guy if anything I liked that about him. And how Gwen was not so eager to jump him for his money. There was friendship that turned into love I love this book because of that. The love seen was beautiful in mind and I wish it wound not have ended badly but the ending was happy so it was good. I hope to read more from this series and other books by Cassandra Dean.

The Geisha with the Green Eyes by   India Millar This book at the start at least made me think of Memoirs of a Geisha By Arthur Golden because of the girl with the weird color eyes being green and not the normal brown but as I read it became its own book. Some nitpicks I have with it are the terms Geisha and Prostitute seem to mean the same thing. Were that is wrong Geisha were women who were known for their art in dance, Music, and conversation. And well Prostitute wound be for sex. But over that large problem I had with the book I liked it. I like the fact that the charters had flaws that most wound have been in the streets or worse at the time.
