I enjoy this book over all. There were some vary slow parts and this was my first book that I have read that had homosexually in. I did not know that is was erotic because I got it at the thrift store and they had it in the kids/teen book area. This book was good once I got past the shock of the gay love seen and some of the slower parts. I enjoyed the parts with more fighting or at lest when  there was more magic being used.  And it was about a women finding her inner power, and the man she loved.

I wound give this book a 3 out / 5. Because some people may not like of the sex or homosexually in this book. I personal though that is was nice and something different then I wound normally read my self  but if you don't like that kind of thing then just don't read this book.

And stop and look at the page going what the hell did I just read. The fact that it was about real women. who lost there teeth and jaws to this to  Radium. I know that from the start of the book having know that but reading about the  pain and struggle that these women went though to prove it was something bad. It was shocking and down right gross at parts of this book almost made me put it down but I wanted to find out if they got it because I knew they did but in the story your with them. when they lose a person in there group to it you feel the sadness too. She also dealing with teen love of her best friend Jas and the jealousy of her Trish who also wants to be with Jas. Finding herself growing in her gifts and finds herself feeling for both a young priest named David and Jas her best friend. Will she be able to help her friend and also love him as well. Or will she fight to even be herself. This is a young adult fantasy and also christian horror. It been a wile since I have read a book that thrilled me like this book did. I still give this book a 3.5 out of 5 it not something I wound pick up normally. But this book made me think a lot about my faith and how it has gone over

The Highwayman (Victorian Rebels #1) by   Kerrigan Byrne   I love historical romance royals, lovely ladies, and the fashion of it all. It just something I have always loved and this book had that.  This book also had the story of love lost and found for the two lovers in this book.  As children  Farah and  Dougan marred each other and promised each other that when they grew up but they got separated because he saved Farah from a priest. 17 years later Farah was working for the law and find herself face to face with  Dorian Blackwell. Will he help her find her old love? Will he help her find herself? Or will he drive her up the wall to the point were it is a fate worse then death? I enjoyed this book giving it 4 out of 5 stars. This was a good romance novel and plan to read more from Kerrigan Byrne. Happy reading.
